The GER Class K85, later to be reclassified by the LNER as N7 were originally designed by Alfred John Hill of the GER and took to the tracks in 1915. LNER's Nigel Gresley further developed the design of the Class after the 1923 Grouping.

Built to service the commuter market out of London Liverpool St.

No 1002 was one of the first production batches (after the first two locos had been built). It will be released with the correct details of the real locomotive in this period.

The livery will be GER Loco Grey - sometimes described as French Grey undercoat.

DCC Sound Fitted using ESU loksound decoder and speaker.

Suitable for 00 railways.

Oxford GER K85 (N7) 0‑6‑2 No 1002 DCC Sound is a model of a Great Eastern Railway steam locomotive. The original locomotive was designed by Alfred John Hill and entered service in 1915; the class was later re‑classified by the LNER as N7 after the 1923 Grouping. A total of 134 units were built between 1915 and 1928, all to a 0‑6‑2T wheel arrangement for commuter work from London Liverpool Street.

The model is finished in pristine condition with a GER locomotive grey livery, sometimes described as French grey undercoat. It carries the correct details for the real No 1002, which was part of the early production batches. The locomotive is fitted with DCC sound using an ESU LokSound decoder and speaker.
