Hornby Wainwright H Class 0‑4‑4T SR is a model locomotive presented in a pristine finish and a green livery. It bears the running number 1324 and measures 132 mm in length.
The model is DCC ready, equipped with an 8‑pin socket, and incorporates a 5‑pole skew‑wound motor. All wheels serve as power pickup, and it can negotiate a minimum radius curve of 2nd radius (438 mm). Coupling is supplied in the NEM / tension‑lock style.
Representing a steam locomotive built between 1904 and 1915, the original class comprised 66 examples. Designed by Harry Wainwright at SECR Ashford Works, the locomotive belongs to the South Eastern & Chatham Railway H class and later operated by the Southern Railway. The wheel arrangement is 0‑4‑4T.
The model corresponds to the period of the British “Big Four” railway companies (LNER, LMS, GWR and SR) and carries the manufacturer part number R3540.
