Manufacturer description

Create an impressive and colourful depiction of the InterCity 225 in Great North Eastern Railway livery for your OO Gauge layout with this website exclusive bundle offer, available now!

Avoid the headache of purchasing individual items with this discounted bundle, that features BR electric locomotive Class 91124 ‘Reverend W Awdry’, eight Mk4 trailer cars, and Driving Vehicle Trailer No.82202.

Seen during the late 1990’s and early 2000's, the Great North Eastern Railway was a privatised train operating company that ran services along the East Coast Mainline out of London Kings Cross to destinations in the North using iconic InterCity 125 and 225 passenger trains, alongside, amusingly, domestic Class 373 Eurostars.

The GNER InterCity 225 also briefly features in the first Harry Potter film, when Harry and Ron travel from Kings Cross for the first time on their way to Hogwarts!
