The Heljan Railbus W&M E79962 is a OO‑scale model of a British Rail Railbus built in 1958 by Waggon‑und‑Maschinenbau GmbH Donauwörth. It features a weathered BR green livery with a late crest, a large yellow panel, and carries the running number E79962. The model is DCC Ready with a 21‑pin socket, provides both directional and interior lighting, and draws power from all wheels via diesel motive power.
It is capable of negotiating a minimum radius of 2nd Radius (438 mm) and is supplied with a manufacturer part number 8704. The prototype was operated by British Railways, had a maximum speed of 55 mph and only five units were produced. This model represents the late‑crest period of British Railways.
