Heljan Class 28 Co‑Bo D5705 is an OO gauge model of the British Rail Class 28 “Metrovick”, supplied with part number 2801. The locomotive is presented in BR green with a late crest and small yellow panels, finished to a pristine condition. It carries the running number D5705 and represents the early crest period of British Railways.

The model is DCC ready, fitted with an 8‑pin socket and can draw power from all wheels. Coupling is via NEM and tension‑lock types. It is built to run on a minimum radius curve of 2 inches and is powered by a diesel‑type motor. The wheel arrangement is Co‑Bo, matching the prototype built by Metropolitan‑Vickers between 1958 and 1959, of which only 20 were produced. The prototype had a maximum speed of 75 mph.

Heljan has supplied the model as a preserved example, suitable for use on OO gauge layouts that follow British railway standards.
