* Class names often change over the lifespan of a locomotive, so this is not necessarily the class name used by the operator in the period modelled.

Dapol Sentinel Steam Locomotive “Molly” is a limited edition model issued for Model Rail Magazine. The locomotive is supplied in a pristine finish with a green livery and measures 76 mm in length. It is DCC Ready with an 8‑pin socket and can negotiate a minimum radius curve of 1st radius (371 mm). Power is collected from all wheels and the locomotive uses NEM/tension‑lock couplings.
The model is powered by steam and represents a locomotive built between 1925 and 1927. Only 24 examples were produced. It is a replica of the London and North Eastern Railway Y1 class, originally operated by the War Department, with a 0‑4‑0 wheel arrangement. The prototype was built by Sentinel Waggon Works. The manufacturer part number is MR‑017 and the period represented is pre‑grouping.
