Dapol Y3 Sentinel steam locomotive, model number 42, is a limited‑edition release for Model Rail Magazine. The model is supplied in a pristine black finish and carries the British Railways early crest, representing the London & North Eastern Railway Y1 class as operated by British Railways.
The locomotive measures 76 mm in length and is built to a 0‑4‑0 wheel arrangement by Sentinel Waggon Works. It is DCC ready with an 8‑pin socket, and power is collected from all wheels.
