The Dapol 14T Tank Wagon Class B Shell Esso Black 1914 is a model of a 14-tonne tank wagon, specifically a Class B wagon converted from surplus Class A wagons after the Second World War.

Built by the Air Ministry between 1939 and 1944, the majority of these wagons were originally used for carrying aviation fuel. The Class B version, such as this model, was converted around 1947 to include heating coils to aid the discharge of viscous fuel and bottom discharge.

This model is a detailed and accurate representation of a Class B wagon, featuring a finely profiled body shell and chassis, separately added details, and a fully sprung chassis. The model also includes a NEM coupling and finely profiled wheels. The livery is superbly applied to match the real-life Shell Esso Black colour scheme.
