Class 37/0 Diesel Locomotive number 37 026 named "Loch Awe" in BR Blue livery.

Exclusive to Mickelover Model Railway Group, 37 026 comes in the standard BR Rail Blue livery for the very early 1980s ScotRail era onwards, complete with Area Maintenance Engineer (AME) West (Highland Terrier) logo.

 

The model, of which only 512 are being produced, is authentic to the period, featuring the correct 37/0 body shell, open boiler port, ribbed boiler panel roof panel, split head code boxes and gangway doors.

Each locomotive is supplied with Shawplan Extreme Etchings nameplates and a uniquely numbered certificate.

 

Other features include:

Headcode box and tail lighting, plus cab interior lights.

Provision for DCC sound to be fitted.

Skew-wound 5-pole motor with twin flywheels.

Six axle drive and all-wheel pickup. 

NEM pockets.

Simple to renumber to most other split head code box BR blue 37/0s.
