Accurascale has released a new OO gauge model, the Siphon G, which represents a range of vehicles from the 1913 to 1955 period. The model is available in BR Rail Blue livery and is designed to be used on 16.5mm track.

The model features highly-detailed exterior and interior components, including etched metal and plastic parts, and finely detailed bogies. The underframe is also fully detailed, with numerous separate parts and accurate differences between versions.

The model uses blackened RP25.110 profile wheel-sets with 14.4mm back-to-back measurements, and 26mm over pinpoints running in brass bearings. The NEM standard coupling sockets are correctly positioned, with mini tension lock couplers.

The model is capable of running on a minimum radius of 438mm, and measures 216mm in length. It is suitable for use in scenes depicting British Rail Blue liveried rolling stock from the pre-TOPS era.
