Accurascale 24.5 tonne HO‑P24/HUO coal hopper wagon, modelled in 1:76.2 (OO) gauge, is presented in a dark‑grey National Coal Board (NCB) livery with a pristine finish. The pack contains three individual wagons, each supplied with its own original running number (OE73081, OE73069 and 099) and fitted with NEM standard coupler pockets together with narrow tension‑lock couplers.

The wagons are 4‑wheel hopper type (HUO) built by British Rail between 1954 and 1963, bearing the manufacturer part number ACC1025‑HUO‑L. They represent the British Rail “Blue” TOPS period and have a minimum curve radius of 1 ft. Wheel specifications are metal 3‑hole disc wheels on metal axles, 12.6 mm in diameter, with RP25.110 darkened profile sets (14.4 mm back‑to‑backs and 26 mm over pinpoints). The models feature extra‑fine factory‑fitted plastic details, sprung buffers and authentic individual lettering and codes.

After withdrawal from BR service the real wagons were employed by the NCB on the internal railway of the Onllwyn open‑cast mine in Wales, remaining in operation with 16‑ and 21‑ton former BR stock until the mid‑1990s. They are therefore suitable for use with NCB shunters and other period‑accurate rolling stock.

Pack L is a three‑wagon multi‑pack, each wagon ready for conversion to P4 or EM gauge. The pack includes metal wheels, axles, couplers and the detailed plastic components required for realistic operation.

Only 250 packs were produced, making this a very limited release.
