Rapido's OO scale model of British Railways 44XX Class locomotive No.4409 is a detailed representation of a locomotive in British Railways early crest livery, dating back to the 1950s. The model is part of the Rapido GWR 44XX collection.
The model features a range of authentic details, including inside steam pipes, smokebox patches, and a cast iron tapered chimney. Other distinctive features include a tall safety valve cover, peaked rain strips, and cab side shutters. The locomotive's tanks also feature a scalloped filler lid stand and an extra rivet strip.
