This OO gauge model represents GWR No.4402 in its GWR green livery with a 'shirtbutton' roundel, which was a characteristic feature of the locomotive during the 1930s to 1950s period. The model is part of Rapido's GWR 44XX collection and is designed to evoke the Big Four era, which saw the operation of the Great Western Railway (GWR), London, Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS), London and North Eastern Railway (LNER), and Southern Railway (SR).

The model features a range of authentic details, including inside steam pipes, an extra rivet strip on the tanks, and a scalloped filler lid stand. The safety valve cover is short, and the rain strips are straight. The cab side shutters and rear lamp iron fender are also accurately replicated, along with a cast iron tapered chimney and parallel buffers. The model is constructed from a combination of die-cast metal and injection moulded plastic.
