Hornby model of the North British Railway J36 Class 0‑6‑0 locomotive, running number 673 and named Maude. The model is finished in pristine condition and carries the livery of black.
The locomotive measures 200 mm in length and is fitted with DCC Twin Track Sound (part number R3600TTS). It is powered by a five‑pole skew‑wound motor, with power pickup from all wheels and NEM/tension‑lock couplings. The minimum curve radius is the second radius, 438 mm.
The prototype was built by Neilson & Company at the Hyde Park Works in December 1891, designed by Matthew Holmes for the North British Railway. Two hundred examples were produced; the class was withdrawn in July 1966 after 74 years in service. The model represents the British Rail Blue (TOPS) era.
