Hornby GWR Castle Class 4‑6‑0 locomotive model, number 5076 “Drysllwyn Castle”, is finished in pristine condition and painted in the original GWR green livery. The model measures 265 mm in length, features a 5‑pole skew‑wound motor, an 8‑pin DCC ready socket and NEM/tension‑lock couplings. It powers both the driving and tender wheels and can negotiate a minimum curve of 438 mm (2nd radius). The motor is supplied with a 4‑6‑0 wheel arrangement and the model represents the period of the Big Four railways.

The prototype was built by the Great Western Railway at Swindon in August 1938, designed by Charles Collett, and was withdrawn in September 1964 after 26 years of service.
