Hornby Hogwarts Express Train Set – OO gauge model featuring a red‑liveried locomotive and two British Railways Mark 1 coaches. The set is DCC ready with an eight‑pin socket, a three‑pole motor with flywheel and a working headlight on the locomotive.

The locomotive is a 4‑6‑0 steam engine, modelled after the Great Western Railway 4073 “Castle” class, carrying the running number 5972 and named “Hogwarts Castle”. It is finished in a pristine red livery and represents the period 1923‑1950, of which 171 examples were produced. The two accompanying coaches are a Standard Corridor (SK) and a Brake Standard Corridor (BSK), both in the same red livery.

The track package includes a 3rd‑radius starter oval, a train controller (R8250), a wall‑plug transformer (P9000W), and a power‑connecting track piece with a re‑railer (R8206). All components are supplied in ready‑to‑assemble condition for use on OO gauge layouts.
