Heljan Class 53 D1200 Falcon in BR blue is a limited‑edition OO gauge model of the British Rail Class 53 "Falcon". The locomotive is presented in the original British Rail blue livery and carries the running number D1200.
The model features a pristine finish, diesel motive power and a Co-Co wheel arrangement. It is fitted with a DCC 8‑pin socket, uses NEM/tension lock couplings and can negotiate a minimum curve of radius 2. The maximum speed is indicated as 100 mph.
The prototype was built by Brush Traction in 1961, and this one‑off model is supplied by Heljan with the part number 5312. It represents the pre‑TOPS British Rail blue period.
