Heljan Class 53 D0280 Falcon is an OO gauge model of the British Rail Class 53 locomotive, painted in lime green and brown with small yellow warning panels and a non‑standard British Rail livery. The model features a pristine finish, a DCC Ready 8‑pin socket, NEM/Tension‑lock coupling and a minimum curve radius of 438 mm (second radius). It represents a diesel, Co‑Co wheel arrangement capable of 100 mph, and carries the running number D0280.

The prototype was built by Brush Traction in 1961 for British Railways, with only one unit produced. Heljan’s model carries the manufacturer part number 5307 and depicts the early British Rail crest.
