Heljan Class 47xx 2-8-0 Night Owl 4704 is a ready‑to‑run OO gauge model locomotive in Great Western Railway green with the shirtbutton emblem. It represents the GWR 4700 class designed by George Churchward and built at Swindon Works in 1919, of which only nine were produced.
The model measures 271 mm in length, features a 21‑pin DCC socket and NEM couplings, and can navigate a minimum radius of 2nd radius (438 mm). It carries the running number 4704, is finished to a pristine standard, and is supplied with the manufacturer part number 4780. The wheel arrangement is 2‑8‑0 and the motive power is steam.
This locomotive depicts the period of the British railway "Big Four" – the LNER, LMS, GWR and SR – and is intended for use on layouts representing the Great Western Railway network.
