EFE Rail produce a OO scale model of the British Rail Class 35 “Hymek” number 7016, finished in pristine British Rail blue with full yellow ends and a data panel. The model measures 212 mm over couplings, has an 8‑pin DCC ready socket (compatible with decoder 36‑566), NEM coupling pockets and directional lighting including illuminated headcode boxes and tail lights.
The prototype was built between 1961 and 1964, had a Bo‑Bo wheel arrangement, a maximum speed of 90 mph and was used for mixed‑traffic duties. A total of 101 locomotives were produced and the class carried the BR blue livery prior to the TOPS renumbering.
The model was announced in the Autumn 2020 British Railway announcements and is supplied with an accessory pack. Manufacturer part number is E84003.
