We are excited to present the new Bachmann Branchline model of the BR 12 Ton ‘Vanwide’ Ventilated Van, finished in Late BR Bauxite livery with ‘VAN’ lettering. Not previously available in OO scale, this Branchline models depicts the ‘Vanwide’ ventilated vans which were built to provide a wider door opening that the standard BR vans of the time which had hinged doors – the wider opening allowing pallets to be loaded and unloaded. With a similar specification to the new Branchline VEA, the Vanwide is made from all-new tooling and raises the bar in terms of detail and fidelity when it comes to OO scale vans. The highly detailed body includes separate wire handrails, separate lamp irons & end boards, and two variations of door runner (smooth or ribbed), whilst the underframe is a work of art with separate components fitted to represent the air brake gear, turned metal buffers and optional brake hangers and ties.

Bachmann has released a new model of the BR 12T 'Vanwide' Ventilated Van in OO scale. The model is finished in late BR Bauxite livery with 'VAN' lettering and features a running number of B784676. It has a length of 87mm and is designed to represent the 'Vanwide' vans built to provide a wider door opening than standard BR vans.

The model features a highly detailed body with separate wire handrails, lamp irons and end boards, as well as two variations of door runner. The underframe is also detailed, with separate components representing the air brake gear, turned metal buffers, and optional brake hangers and ties.

The model is part of the Bachmann Branchline range and is designed for Era 6. It features a pristine finish and is compatible with NEM coupling pockets.
