Bachmann Branchline Class 31/1 31123 in British Rail Blue is an OO‑scale model of a Brush Type Two diesel locomotive. It carries the manufacturer part number 35‑805 and replicates a locomotive that originally wore the TOPS blue livery. The model represents a unit with the running number 31123 and is produced as part of a series of 263 locomotives built to this specification.

The locomotive is DCC ready (fitted with a Plux 22 socket) and includes interior and directional lighting. It is finished to a pristine standard and painted in the authentic blue livery. The model measures 228 mm in length, runs on a 5‑pole motor with twin flywheel, and uses a NEM 362 coupling. It is capable of negotiating a minimum curve radius of 438 mm (second radius). The motive power is represented as diesel, and the model is intended for use by operators depicting British Rail.

The Class 31/1 joins the Brush Type Twos – Class 30s and Class 31s – as the latest diesel prototypes to receive the Bachmann Branchline treatment in OO scale. Following the introduction of their N‑scale equivalents from Graham Farish, these OO models share the same design principles as the Branchline Class 37 and Class 47 locomotives, offering collectors and railway modellers a consistent and detailed range.
