The all-new Bachmann Branchline Bulleid Coaches have been designed from the rails up and these stunning models capture every element of Bulleid’s modernistic design to a tee. These steel-bodied coaches went on to influence the ubiquitous British Railways Mark 1 Standard Coaching Stock, and we hope you will agree that we’ve really done these important coaches justice in model form. This model depicts Brake Third Semi-Open No. 4341 in SR Malachite Green livery.

Every Bachmann Branchline Bulleid Coach incorporates a wealth of detail including separately fitted components such as roof vents, lamp irons, toilet filler & overflow pipework and the portrayal of a complete vacuum pipe-run between the sockets at each end of the vehicles. The bogies incorporate electrical pickups, brake details and footsteps as appropriate whilst authentic interiors are also included along with full underframe gear.

The Bachmann Branchline range of Bulleid coaches, launched in 2018, features a highly detailed model of a Southern Railway Brake Third Semi-Open coach in Malachite Green livery. This coach, numbered 4341, is a accurate representation of the real thing, with a wealth of detail including separately fitted components such as roof vents and lamp irons.

The model, available in OO scale, features a length of 270mm and includes a number of specific details unique to this variant, including 10" window ventilators, twin vacuum brake cylinders and Bulleid-pattern battery boxes. The coach also features a close coupling mechanism and NEM coupling pockets.

Bachmann's model of the Bulleid coach is a highly detailed and authentic representation of the real thing, capturing the modernistic design of the original coaches. The coach is finished in pristine condition, with a smooth bodyside and a short roof tank. The model also features a number of distinctive features, including long footboards, six-piece bogie steps at the brake end and twin guard's door handrails.
