The leader of Sir Nigel Gresley’s Mixed Traffic V2 locomotives was named ‘Green Arrow’, after the express freight services operated by the ‘Big Four’ railway companies, and we’ve paired our model of No. 60800 ‘Green Arrow’ in its BR livery with two Newton Chambers Car Carriers to replicate an express service on BR’s Eastern Region during the final years of steam.

Bachmann Branchline Eastern Express Train Set – Part number 30‑505 – is an OO‑scale model railway kit representing the British Railways Late Crest period. The set is designed as an introductory package for hobbyists, providing all the components required to operate the layout.

The set features a replica of LNER V2 Class No 60800, known as “Green Arrow”, finished in BR Lined Green livery. It is accompanied by two Newton Chambers car carriers painted in BR Maroon; the numbers on the carriers vary and a weathered finish may be present. All items are compatible with other OO‑scale models and track. An analogue controller with mains power supply, an oval of track, plug‑in wiring and a Lucsmore Vale layout mat are included.
