MHA Ballast Wagon, Three Pack, EWS - Era 9
Accurascale has released a set of three OO gauge model mineral wagons in DB Schenker / DB Cargo UK livery. Each wagon is finished in a pristine condition and features the livery of a former EWS Maroon wagon. The running numbers of the wagons are 394676, 394913 and 396164.
The models are based on the MHA Coalfish wagon type and are equipped with NEM + Tension Lock couplings. The minimum radius required for operation is a 2nd radius curve, or 438mm.
The models are built to a high level of detail, with features such as rivets, framing, strapping and accurately profiled door 'horns' on the interior. They also feature RP25-110 profile OO gauge wheels with separate brake blocks, and sprung metal buffers and dummy instanter couplings.
The models are designed to be versatile, with the ability to be converted to EM and P4 gauge track. They also feature a range of super fine plastic parts, including air pipes, lamp irons, safety catches, clasp and disc brakes, hopper door operating equipment, and etched metal details such as brake levers and chassis plates.
The models are designed to run on 16.5mm track and have a weight of at least 40g. They are suitable for OO gauge modelling from the late 1990s to the present day.
