Accurascale has released a new set of three OO gauge models of MHA Coalfish wagons in EWS livery. The models are highly detailed and feature a die-cast chassis for added weight. The wagons are designed for use on 16.5mm track and have a minimum radius of 438mm. They are supplied with sprung metal buffers and dummy Instanter couplings.
Each model is finished in a pristine maroon livery and features accurate details such as rivets, framing, and strapping. The interior of the wagons is also detailed, with accurately profiled door 'horns'. The models have RP25-110 profile OO gauge wheels with separate brake blocks and are designed for easy conversion to EM and P4 gauge track.
The wagons are based on the real-life MHA Coalfish wagons built by various manufacturers between 1997 and 2007 for the English, Welsh and Scottish Railway. The models are available in wagon numbers 394531, 394716, and 394941. They are suitable for use on OO gauge layouts depicting the initial privatisation era of British Rail.
