Ellis Clark Trains has announced the launch of Nexus Decoders, a new range of DCC decoders that the company claims will deliver more realistic sound and advanced digital operation for railway modellers.
The new decoder platform utilises dual‑channel technology and will be produced in a variety of sizes, allowing it to fit a range of locomotive installations, including compact applications where space is limited.
According to Ellis Clark, the Nexus range has been designed to improve realism and performance while simplifying digital operation for model railway enthusiasts.
A key element of the launch is the company’s declaration that all forthcoming Ellis Clark locomotive releases will incorporate Nexus technology onboard, making the decoder platform central to its future product strategy.
By developing its own decoder ecosystem, Ellis Clark is entering a highly competitive DCC market that has traditionally been dominated by long‑established electronics manufacturers.
The company highlights that Nexus Decoders have been built around the needs of railway modellers, focusing on sound realism, operational flexibility and broad compatibility across a wide range of models.
Further information on the Nexus Decoder range can be found on the Ellis Clark website.
