Dapol is marking the impact its logos have had on the company by re‑producing a selection of them on collectible model wagons.
Dapol has produced model railway items at Chirk in North Wales for over 40 years. During that time the logo has gone through several different versions. Some logos were used only on railway products; others appeared on a wider range of items. Enthusiasts and collectors who have bought Dapol goods over the years will recognise these variations on catalogues, packaging and the products themselves.
Occasionally a single logo was shown alone, while at other times two or more logos were displayed together, with overlapping date ranges. To celebrate the evolution of Dapol’s logos, the company is issuing a range of collectible wagons in N, OO and O gauges that feature the various designs.

Decorated samples have already been sent to Dapol, who are now reviewing them in preparation for a launch in August 2026.
