Take a closer look at Hornby's new RailRoad BR InterCity Class 91 No. 91018 Robert Louis Stevenson (R30527).
Built at Crewe Works and entering service in 1990, 91018 was one of the famous Class 91 locomotives constructed for the East Coast Main Line electrification programme. Known as the InterCity 225 fleet, these locomotives were designed for 140mph operation and became one of the defining images of British Rail's final years. No. 91018 carried the name Robert Louis Stevenson from 1993 before later being renamed Bradford Film Festival.
