Revolution Trains FNA‑D Nuclear Flask Carrier No. 11 (product code 70 9229 023‑0) is a current‑era OO gauge model of a nuclear flask wagon. It is supplied under the part number RT‑FNAD‑407 and is produced under licence from DRS.
The prototype wagons were constructed by WH Davis from 2014 to replace older nuclear flask wagons and are used throughout the network to carry spent fuel from nuclear power stations to Sellafield. In service the wagons normally operate in rakes of one to four, typically hauled by two locomotives either double‑headed or top‑and‑tailed.
The model is built to 1:76.2 scale on 16.5 mm track and includes detailed underframe work, RP25‑110 profile wheels on 26 mm axles and separate brake shoes on the bogies. It features sprung buffers, kinetic NEM coupler sockets with mini‑tension‑lock couplers and a minimum radius of 438 mm (second radius). Eight different running numbers are available, all sharing a common livery.
