Caledonian Single No.123 – LMS Lined Black No.14010 (DCC Sound Fitted)
Rapido's Caledonian Single No.123 in LMS Lined Crimson livery is a highly detailed model of a classic locomotive. This locomotive is based on the Caledonian Railway's Single 4-2-2 design, which was rebuilt in LMS lined crimson in 1927, resulting in the number 14010.
The model is suitable for operation on track with a minimum radius of 438mm or more, making it ideal for layouts with tighter curves. One notable feature is the working dynamic firebox flicker, which adds a level of authenticity to the model's operation.
Electrical features of the model include a 21-pin DCC decoder socket, allowing for easy installation of a digital command control system. The model also features MoPower stay-alive capacitors to help maintain a smooth operation and prevent voltage drops. Additionally, two factory-fitted speakers are included, providing a clear and realistic sound experience.
The model boasts a museum-quality paint finish and features a highly detailed mechanical system, including sprung buffers. The use of NEM coupler pockets allows for easy coupling and uncoupling of the model from other rolling stock.
The Caledonian Single No.123 is available in OO gauge, making it suitable for use with 1:76 scale models and layouts.
