Caledonian Single No.123 – LMS Lined Black No.14010 (DCC Sound Fitted)
Rapido's Caledonian Single locomotive No.123 in LMS Lined Red livery has been released. This model is a representation of the Caledonian Railway's Single class 4-2-2 locomotive, which was rebuilt by the London, Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS) to No.14010 in 1927.
The model is designed for operation on 2nd radius curves with a minimum radius of 438mm. It features a working dynamic firebox flicker and a 21-pin DCC decoder socket. MoPower stay-alive capacitors are also included to help maintain smooth operation. Two factory-fitted speakers are built into the model for a more authentic sound experience.
The locomotive has a highly detailed finish, with a museum quality paint job and smooth, powerful mechanism. Sprung buffers are also included for a more realistic appearance. The model is designed to be highly detailed, with NEM coupler pockets for easy coupling and uncoupling.
The Caledonian Single No.123 in LMS Lined Red livery is available in 1:76 scale, which is compatible with OO gauge models.
