The Rapido Manning Wardle L Class model 'Sir Berkeley' is a OO gauge representation of a locomotive from the Big Four era. This model is part of the Rapido Manning Wardle L Class collection and is available with DCC sound fitting.
The model is based on Works No. 1210, a real locomotive built in 1890. It has been preserved in the 2010s at the Middleton Railway, depicted in a Cranford style condition. The model features a weatherboard cab, diagonal-ended frames, double boss wheels, and tapered buffer stocks.
The locomotive is equipped with a high-quality motor and mechanism, and includes a high level of detail with plenty of separately fitted parts. Additionally, the model features an E24 DCC socket and a factory-fitted speaker for optimal sound quality. The model also has NEM coupler pockets for easy coupling and uncoupling.
