The Rapido Gunpowder Van - Royal Ordnance Factory No.11 is a model of a gunpowder van produced by Rapido. It is designed to represent a wagon of the type built to the Royal Carriage Department's (RCD) pattern, specifically for use by the Royal Ordnance Factory.
This model is intended for use in OO gauge model railways and features a pristine finish with a grey livery bearing the running number 11. The wagon is depicted in the service of the London and North Eastern Railway (LNER) during the period of the 'Big Four' railway companies, which operated from 1923 to 1948.
The model includes a number of detailed features, including an unfitted RCH underframe, split spoked wheels, and RCH pattern buffers. NEM couplings are also fitted to enable the model to be easily coupled to other wagons. The model is 1:76 scale, which is a common scale for OO gauge model railways.
