Manufacturer description

This Military set comprises three vehicles used extensively by the Allies during WWII and in the case of this set, they are as used in the Italian Campaign in 1943, featuring all the authentic military lettering and numbering associated with their duties in this particular theatre of war.

First comes the AEC Matador Artillery Tractor which belongs to the 66th Medium Regiment of the 8th Army and is also decorated in the light mud and blue black camouflage scheme and this time the RAF roundel is printed on the canvas roof of the rear section of the truck.

The Bedford MWD is of 6th Armoured Division in light mud and blue black camouflage scheme with RAF roundel printed on the roof of the driver's cab.

The third piece in the set is the Austin Tilly from HQ 6th Armoured Division RASC and comes in a different camouflage scheme of brown and blue black with slightly lighter brown 'canvas' back. The interior is grey. The Royal Army Service Corps was responsible for supplying the British Army with all provisions except weaponry.

The set, part number 76SET25, depicts three British Army vehicles that served in the Italian Campaign of 1943. All units carry authentic War Department markings and the livery used by British Railways in the late crest period.

The first model is an AEC Matador artillery tractor assigned to the 66th Medium Regiment of the 8th Army. It is finished in light mud and blue‑black camouflage and features an RAF roundel printed on the canvas roof of the rear section.

The second vehicle is a Bedford MWD belonging to the 6th Armoured Division. It shares the same light mud and blue‑black camouflage, with an RAF roundel on the driver’s cab roof.

The third piece is an Austin Tilly from the headquarters of the 6th Armoured Division RASC. This model is painted in a brown and blue‑black scheme with a slightly lighter brown canvas rear and a grey interior. The Royal Army Service Corps supplied the British Army with provisions, excluding weaponry.
