Father's Day Wagon
Hornby Retro Wagons – three‑pack model set comprising a United Dairies tanker wagon, a Jacob’s Biscuits van and a Palethorpes van. The models are scaled to OO gauge and represent the period of the former “Big Four” railway companies (LNER, LMS, GWR and SR). They are supplied with the historic liveries of the three owners.
The United Dairies tanker is a painted tank wagon, 90 mm in length and finished in a pristine condition. The Jacob’s Biscuits van and the Palethorpes van are both painted covered wagons, each 116 mm long, also finished pristinely. All three models feature the original company colours and logos.
Manufacturer part number R6991. The wagons were built by various companies for Hornby and are intended for use on model railway layouts. The set offers a convenient way to add authentic mid‑20th‑century freight rolling stock to an OO‑gauge collection.
