Hornby BR Dia.034 'Toad B' Brake Van (running number E140580) is a painted OO gauge model, 900 mm in length, with a NEM coupling. The model depicts a British Railways grey brake van from the early crest period and is listed under manufacturer part number R6924.
The prototype represented by this model was introduced in 1924 as part of a renewal programme by the London & North Eastern Railway. It succeeded a ten‑ton North Eastern design of 1923 and combined features of the former Great Northern and North East Railway brake vans into a nineteenth‑foot, twenty‑ton vehicle.
