Hornby Caledonian Sleeper Class 92 locomotive, reference 92023, is an Era 10 OO gauge model. It represents a Co‑Co electric locomotive built between 1993 and 1996, with the specific unit modeled after the locomotive built in June 1995 that entered service named Ravel, one of nine SNCF owned examples. The model is finished in a pristine midnight teal livery with a blue colour scheme, bears the running number 92023 and carries the manufacturer part number R3740.
The locomotive features DCC ready equipment with an 8‑pin socket, a 5‑pole skew wound motor and power pickup via a power bogie only. It has NEM/tension lock couplings, a minimum curve radius of 2nd radius (438 mm) and a maximum speed of 90 mph. The model measures 280 mm in length and is supplied with a Co‑Co wheel arrangement, built by Asea Brown Boveri and Brush Traction for the Caledonian Sleeper operator.
