Prototype Era
Era 4 (1948 to 1956) British Railways Early Crest
The Success of the powerful King Class allowed them to maintain their position as the western region’s flagship class even after nationalisation. Thick pack containing ‘King Edward II’ complete with a rake of Collet coaches allows you to recreate a busy 1950s BR commuter train.
* Class names often change over the lifespan of a locomotive, so this is not necessarily the class name used by the operator in the period modelled.
