The mighty 6000 ‘King’ Class represents the pinnacle of GWR engineering. These locomotives were used to haul some of the heaviest passenger services of the time. Thick pack containing ‘King Edward II’ complete with a rake of Collet coaches allows you to recreate a busy 1930s GWR region train.

Hornby The Royal Bow – King + Bow End Collets Era 3 – Bundle is a DCC‑ready OO gauge model of the Great Western Railway 6000 “King” Class locomotive, designed by Charles Collett. The model features a painted chocolate finish, a 5‑pole skew‑wound motor and an 8‑pin DCC socket. With a wheel arrangement of 4‑6‑0, a length of 315 mm and a minimum curve of 2nd radius (438 mm), it is suitable for the Big Four era (LNER, LMS, GWR and SR).
