Heljan Class 52 Western diesel D1058, liveried in British Rail blue, is an OO gauge model of the British Rail Class 52 "Western" locomotive. The model is supplied in a pristine finish and is DCC ready with an 8‑pin socket.
The locomotive is represented in the British Rail Blue (pre‑TOPS) period and carries the running number D1058, named Western Nobleman. It features a C‑C wheel arrangement, power pickup on four of six axles, NEM and tension‑lock couplings, and a minimum curve radius of 2. The model is built to a scale gauge of OO and uses a 5208 manufacturer part number.
Technical details include a maximum speed of 90 mph, a diesel motive power source, and construction based on the original locomotives built between 1961 and 1964 at Swindon Works and Crewe Works, of which 74 were produced. The model is ready for operation on DCC layouts with a 4‑pole power pickup.
