As part of our Winter 2022 British Railway Announcements, we are thrilled to present this LSWR Cross Country Coach Pack. Using new tooling developed for the EFE Rail range, each three-coach pack comprises two Brake Thirds and a Composite coach. Presented as a book set, the three vehicles are numbered accordingly to create an authentic coach set, with set numbers applied to the brake end of each Brake Third vehicle. With an abundance of detail, including separately fitted roof ventilators, handrails, grab handles and underframe components, this coach pack will make a fine addition to any collection.

Model details

EFE Rail has released a new OO scale model as part of their range. This model is a 3-coach set, representing a typical LSWR Cross Country train from the Big Four era. The set consists of two Brake Thirds and a Composite coach, numbered to create an authentic coach set.

The coaches are presented in pristine SR Malachite Green livery and are numbered 2925, 2929, and 5056. The model features a high level of detail, including separately fitted components such as roof ventilators, handrails, grab handles, and underframe details.

The set includes NEM coupling pockets and a close coupling mechanism, allowing for smooth and reliable operation. The coaches are 238mm in length each, making the complete set 714mm long.

This model is suitable for Era 3, which corresponds to the 1948-1967 period, and is a great addition to any OO scale model railway collection.
