EFE Rail produce a OO scale model of the British Rail Class 58 locomotive, representing unit 58011 in the Railfreight Red Stripe livery. The model measures 259 mm over the couplings and is built to the specifications of the original locomotive built between 1983 and 1987, of which 50 were produced. It has a Co‑Co wheel arrangement, a maximum speed of 80 mph and a diesel motive power source.

The model is finished in a pristine condition with a weathered grey body and faded red stripe graphics, mimicking the appearance of the original during the British Rail sectorisation era. It is DCC ready, incorporating an eight‑pin socket for a decoder, and includes directional head and tail lighting.
