DJ Models 0‑6‑0 1361 Steam Locomotive, running number 1362, is issued as a limited‑edition item exclusive to Kernow Model Rail Centre. Further information and purchase details are available at https://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.com/p/43615/K2202‑DJ‑Models‑0‑6‑0‑1361‑Steam‑Locomotive‑number‑136.
The model is supplied in OO gauge with a pristine finish and a Black livery featuring the early British Railways emblem. It measures 105 mm in length, uses an NEM coupling and is capable of negotiating a minimum radius of 438 mm (2nd radius). The locomotive is fitted with a 6‑pin DCC decoder socket and represents the 0‑6‑0ST wheel arrangement, powered by a steam motive.
The prototype locomotive was built in June 1910 at Swindon by the Great Western Railway to the design of George Churchward. It served the Great Western Railway and later British Railways for fifty years before being withdrawn in May 1961. Only five examples of this model have been produced; the manufacturer part number is K2202 and it illustrates the British Railways early crest period.
