The Bachmann Class 43xx 2-6-0 model replicates Great Western Railway locomotive number 4331 in OO gauge (1:76 scale). It is based on the original GWR design built at Swindon Works between 1911 and 1932, featuring a 2‑6‑0 wheel arrangement and mixed‑traffic duties before withdrawal in 1964.
The model was introduced using 1996 tooling and incorporates a split‑chassis construction, tension‑lock couplings and a non‑NEM socket. It is suitable for operation on a minimum radius of 2 tracks and represents the Big Four era of British railway history.
It carries the prototype's original running number and is aimed at collectors and modellers of historic British steam locomotives.
