This OO gauge model represents a British Railways Standard Class 4MT 4-6-0 steam locomotive. It is equipped with a BR1B tender and features a double chimney configuration. The prototype for this locomotive was constructed at the BR Swindon Works between 1951 and 1957, with a total of 80 units produced for mixed traffic duties across the network.
Designed for operation on layouts with a minimum curve radius of 438mm, the locomotive measures 245mm in length. It accurately reflects the characteristics of the class, which remained in service with British Railways until 1968.
