Accurascale has released a set of three OO gauge PFA 2 axle container flat wagons, each featuring Cawoods coal containers. The wagons are finished in a pristine condition and have running numbers CAWD92751, CAWD92735 and CAWD92732.

The models are designed to be highly detailed and accurate, with factory-fitted detail parts such as brake pipes and lamp irons. They also feature factory-fitted pipework and sprung metal buffers. The wagons come with separate, interchangeable containers, which are included in the pack. The under-frame is fully detailed, including brake rigging and hangers.

The wheels are blackened metal 12.6mm 3-hole disc wheels on metal axles, with RP25.110 profile sets and a back-to-back measurement of 14.4mm. The models are designed to be compatible with NEM coupler pockets, which are fitted with narrow tension lock couplers on flexible mounts. This allows for fixed coupling if desired. The chassis is die-cast, providing ideal weight. The models are designed for easy conversion to EM and P4 gauge track.

The wagons are representative of the late 1980s period, when British Rail was in the process of sectorisation. They were built by the Standard Railway Wagon Company, a well-known manufacturer of railway wagons.
