Accurascale has released a pack of three Coil A/SFV steel wagons featuring bauxite livery, as operated by British Rail during the British Rail Blue period.

These wagons are based on the Diagram 1/412, Lot 3450 Coil-A wagons that were converted to air piped versions in 1983. They feature oleo buffers and roller-bearing axle boxes, and were used on Speedlink trains to destinations such as Newport Docks, Brierley Hill, Swindon, Dagenham, and Poole.

The wagons were part of a larger fleet of 29 conversions, with 21 survivors remaining in service until 1992. They were often used in block rakes, alongside other steel wagons such as the Coil B, Bogie Coil V, and Bogie Strip Coil K wagons.

The Accurascale model features common details including NEM standard coupler pockets, narrow tension lock couplers, and RP25.110 wheels on metal axles. The wagons also include extra fine factory-fitted detail plastic parts, sprung buffers, and individual lettering and codes to ensure authenticity.
