World of Railways has announced a trio of new OO gauge wagons to mark Britain’s largest railway model forum, RMweb. The collection pays tribute to the late founder Andy York and includes a playful nod to Phil Parker’s love of cakes.
The limited‑run models are available individually or as a bundle of three from the World of Railways online shop. They are built by Rapido and are expected to attract model‑railway enthusiasts, forum users and collectors alike.
Private‑owner wagons played a significant role in the UK railway scene from the earliest days. They could be seen across the country from the pre‑grouping era and continued in operation after nationalisation, with British Railways inheriting more than half a million of them in 1948.
Available now for purchase, individual wagons cost £32.95 and the three‑pack retails for £94.99. They are expected to launch in Q4 2026.
