Rapido Trains UK has announced a significant expansion of its OO gauge GWR wagon range, introducing new tooling variants and a range of fresh liveries for 2025. The new additions include the Dia. V6 Iron Mink and the Dia. O21 Four-Plank Open Wagon, two of the GWR's most enduring designs, as well as additions to the popular fictitious liveried gunpowder vans.

New Features and Details

The updated ranges feature brand-new grease axle box tooling, enabling accurate pre-grouping liveries to be produced. Other detail differences include vents, door types, and brake arrangements. Some four-plank wagons will include an optional sheet bar that can be fitted by the user. A newly tooled GPV door design also debuts on some Iron Mink and Not-Quite Mink models.
